Provider-neutral generation prompts

Outcome: Produce a versioned prompt pack that can move between supported video tools without losing intent, constraints, or continuity.

Objectives

  • Express every shot through subject, action, camera, environment, light, and sound dimensions.
  • Use timestamps, constraints, reference roles, and exact continuity phrases without vendor-specific magic words.
  • Generate bounded alternatives by changing one named axis while holding the rest of the shot constant.

Learn one thing

Six perceptual dimensions

A portable prompt states who or what appears, what changes, how the camera observes, where it occurs, how light behaves, and what sound job exists or is excluded.

Choose: Fill all six dimensions, even when the sound decision is silence.
Time orders change

Timestamped beats tell a model what begins, develops, and resolves. They are especially useful when action and camera movement must not happen simultaneously or randomly.

Choose: Use two or three time regions only when the shot contains sequential change.
Variation needs an axis

A useful alternative changes one named choice, such as camera height or motion speed, while identity, claim, timing, and reference roles stay locked.

Choose: Name the one axis before requesting another candidate.

Make the artifact

  1. Copy the locks

    Start each prompt with the shot ID, product identity, reference roles, and exact continuity phrases from the plan.

    Check: No locked trait is paraphrased between related shots.
  2. Fill the six dimensions

    Write subject, action trajectory, camera trajectory, environment, light, and sound job in concrete language.

    Check: Each dimension is explicit and observable in the output.
  3. Order and constrain

    Add timestamps only for sequential changes, then add exclusions for extra text, cuts, identities, claims, and unsafe behavior.

    Check: Constraints protect known failure risks without contradicting the desired action.
  4. Name the variation

    Duplicate the base prompt once, change one named axis, and state all traits that must remain identical.

    Check: The pair can test one creative choice rather than two different concepts.

Use only authorized references; prohibit real-person imitation, deceptive evidence, unsafe acts, unlicensed marks, and factual claims not present in the brief.
