Sound, captions, and the edit

Outcome: Assemble the generated shots into a clear 15-second cut with voice-first sound, intentional effects, readable captions, and measured loudness.

Voice owns the message

Spoken words carry the argument, so music and effects must leave them intelligible on an ordinary phone speaker. Loudness is not clarity when frequencies compete.

Choose: Set voice first, then add only sounds that improve understanding.
Three sound jobs

Ambience establishes place, foley explains physical action, and impact emphasizes a chosen change. Naming the job prevents every layer from becoming generic noise.

Choose: Give each cut at most one deliberate sound-effect emphasis.
Captions are composition

Captions must remain readable, timed to speech, inside safe areas, and clear of the product and interface overlays. They are part of the frame, not a final sticker.

Choose: Use short caption units and inspect them at phone size.

Make the artifact

  1. Build the picture spine

    Place only the strongest shot for each story job and trim the sequence to exactly fifteen seconds.

    Check: Hook, proof, payoff, and CTA remain understandable without audio.
  2. Set the voice

    Add an authorized natural read, remove distracting gaps, and confirm every claim matches the locked brief.

    Check: Every spoken word is clear on a phone speaker.
  3. Assign sound jobs

    Add restrained ambience, action-specific foley, and at most one deliberate impact per cut before considering music.

    Check: Muting any effect reveals the job it was performing.
  4. Caption and measure

    Create short timed captions, keep them in safe areas, inspect at phone size, and measure the final integrated loudness.

    Check: Captions are readable and the mix is near negative fourteen LUFS without clipping.
